Quick, Easy and Delicious!

4 boneless
chicken breast halves

1/2 cup
water
-
1 large
egg
-
1 tsp.
salt, or to taste
-
2-3 dashes
Hot Sauce, or more if you dare!

vegetable
shortening or oil, for frying

2 cups
Vidalia Brands’ Batter Mix
Slice chicken
into strips and place in a glass or plastic bowl. Whisk water
with egg, salt and hot sauce until evenly blended and pour
over chicken. Toss to coat well, then cover and refrigerate
at least 30 minutes.
Heat 1 inch
of vegetable shortening or oil in a heavy gauge skillet over a
medium high setting. Place dry batter mix in a bag for
shaking. Add chicken strips to the bag, 1-2 at a time and
shake until thoroughly coated. Fry in a single layer until
golden, turning once. Chicken should be fully white in the
center. Drain over paper toweling and serve hot with
Vidalia
Brands’ Honey Mustard or Vidalia Brands’ Blossom Sauce.
Yield:
